Terms of Service

Welcome to Tross ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by BytQuest. By accessing or using our website, APIs, or autonomous software engineering tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Tross provides autonomous AI-assisted software engineering, code refactoring, AST analysis, and issue resolution services executed within isolated ephemeral microVM environments.

• Air-Gapped Sandbox: All code execution, build steps, and test runs occur within ephemeral cloud microVMs.
• Read-Only Local Access: The platform reads repository data as authorized by your account permissions and never mutates your local environment directly.
• Automated PR Generation: Code changes generated by Tross are delivered in the form of signed Pull Requests for human review.

To utilize Tross features, you must authenticate via supported providers (such as GitHub OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access tokens and account credentials.

You grant Tross temporary, scoped authorization to access connected repositories strictly for the purpose of analyzing issues, running tests, and submitting requested pull requests.

Your Codebase: You retain complete ownership of all source code, proprietary logic, and intellectual property submitted to or processed by Tross.

Generated Output: All pull requests, diffs, unit tests, and documentation generated specifically for your repositories belong exclusively to you upon generation.

Tross Platform: BytQuest retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Tross platform, architecture, microVM engines, trademarks, and underlying AI technology.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BYTQUEST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BYTQUEST, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF GENERATED CODE OR PLATFORM OUTAGES.
